Welcome to ShelfLog. By using our service you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. About ShelfLog

ShelfLog is a social book lending platform that allows users to catalogue their personal book collections, connect with friends, and track book loans. ShelfLog is currently in Beta.

2. Your account

To use ShelfLog you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password secure and confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate information when signing up

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use ShelfLog for any unlawful purpose
• Post false, misleading, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts or our systems
• Use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Impersonate another person or entity

4. Book lending

ShelfLog facilitates communication between users about book lending but is not a party to any lending agreement. All lending arrangements are made directly between users. ShelfLog is not responsible for:

• Lost, damaged, or unreturned books
• Disputes between users about lending arrangements
• The condition of books as described by users

5. Your content

You retain ownership of content you post on ShelfLog, including book reviews and ratings. By posting content you grant us a licence to display it within the service to your connected friends.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you post.

6. Privacy

Your use of ShelfLog is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

7. Service availability

ShelfLog is provided "as is". As a Beta service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We will endeavour to notify users of significant changes.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShelfLog and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your Profile settings.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ShelfLog after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
